"Ferly is feeling a little bit better so we'll monitor him today to see how the injury (is) after the skate," said coach Gulutzan. "Steeger is still a ways off. But now he's at the point he can do some pre-game skates and start to see how be progesses, with hopefully some practices next week."
Gulutzan also gave an update on the status of the team's No.-1 goaltender, Mike Smith, who has missed nine games with a lower body injury.
"Some really good progression .... we're really excited about it," he said.
