Preview: Ducks Conclude Preseason with Visit to Kings
The preseason concludes today as the Ducks travel up to Crypto.com Arena to take on the Kings

Anaheim was on the losing end of a very lopsided affair in the loss to San Jose on Thursday night to fall to 1-2-0 in preseason play.
Today’s exhibition game marks one final trial run for players on this team before the regular season begins on Friday, October 3. Alex Killorn, who is entering his fourth season in Anaheim, talked about the group he’ll be flying with this year.
“We feel good,” Killorn said. “Excited. Obviously, last year was a great year in terms of building with this group so we look forward to doing more of that this year. There’s probably some more young guys who are going to slot in this year. It’s an exciting time.”
Killorn has seen this team evolve throughout his time with the Ducks and said while they accomplished a lot last season, they can only continue to grow moving forward.
“I think a lot of guys who have been here take a lot of pride [in the evolution],” he said. “It’s really not easy when you’re going through a rebuild and you’re hoping certain guys are going to pan out and certain guys are going to take a step. Everything’s kind of gone the right way here in terms of guys that were high draft picks stepping into their roles and becoming great players on this team. There’s always another level.”
The Ducks made the following moves on Friday, trimming their roster to 35 players (20 forwards, 12 defensemen and three goaltenders):
