"We had a lot of chances and we definitely could have won that game," Keller said. "Just one good bounce for them and it's in the back of our net. It's tough, and I think we've just got to stay positive."
• Goalie Louis Domingue, playing his first game after a two-game break, stopped 25 of 28 shots. He also thwarted a penalty-shot attempt by Tommy Wingels at 17:24 of the second period with a nifty poke check. Wingels was credited with a goal briefly, but the goal was disallowed after video review showed Domingue touched the puck with his stick before Wingels shot it.
"Sometimes calls go not your way, but I'm pretty fortunate that a call went my way this time," said Domingue, who has struggled this season. "The stats weren't there, obviously no 'W,' the save percentage is off, the goals against is pretty bad when you look at it, but a lot of positives. It's the type of game that I needed to get back on my feet."
