Clayton Keller scored for the second straight game, but the Arizona Coyotes dropped the final game of their east coast swing 4-1 to the New York Rangers on Sunday.
Connor Ingram made 23 saves in his fifth start of the season for the Coyotes, who outshot the Rangers 32-27. New York's Igor Shesterkin stopped 31 of the 32 shots he faced.
Clayton Keller scored his sixth goal of the season while Arizona was on the power play, and the Coyotes have now notched a goal with the man advantage in 11 of 15 games this year.

"He put that in from a pretty tough angle," said Nick Ritchie, who assisted on Keller's goal. "It was a great shot by him."
Barclay Goodrow, Adam Fox, Chris Kreider, and Ryan Carpenter each scored for New York, which won for just the second time in six games.
After Arizona outshot New York 17-4 in the first period, Goodrow and Fox scored just over a minute apart in the second to give the Rangers a 2-0 lead. Kreider added a power-play goal at 4:39 of the third before Keller drew the Coyotes to within two.

Even with the power-play goal, though head coach André Tourigny said much was left to be desired in how the team played with the man advantage. Arizona finished 1-for-6 on the power play, but didn't cash in until they were down by three.
"We came up with a lot of focus, a lot of urgency -- we played well," Tourigny said. "We put pucks to the net, we recovered loose pucks. We did pretty much everything we wanted until we started to get power plays. I think we lost the momentum with our power play."
Carpenter's goal at 11:43 of the third iced the game.
Arizona finished its five-game east coast trip 3-2-0, and Tourigny said he's seen a lot of growth from the team during the first stretch of 14 straight road games.
The team doesn't return to Mullett Arena until Dec. 9.
"We started the season, as a team, we're giving up 45 shots a night, and now we're a team who's way more stingy," Tourigny said. "We're a team who had a tough time to put 20 on net. Now we're around 30, and we have more volume and more o-zone possession."
Ritchie agreed.

"We played some good hockey if you look at is as one trip," he said. "Obviously we won some games, but you can even take good things out of tonight where we put it to a good team at home."
The Coyotes are back in action on Thursday against the Vegas Golden Knights, and the game will be broadcast on Bally Sports Arizona and ESPN 620 AM. Puck drop is scheduled for 8 pm MST.
