MONTREAL - Being an NHLer comes with more than a few perks. And while not everyone will get to travel like the Canadiens or have their own stall in the dressing room, there are still a few things the Habs recommend adding to a bucket list that are well within reach for most fans.
ONE RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD PEOPLE MUST TRY
I really like Cowboy Jack's back home in Minnesota. I'll go in there and have a pulled pork sandwich and some fries.
ONE CAR PEOPLE MUST DRIVE
I'd say maybe a Ford F350 truck. My dad has always had one and I think trucks are pretty cool.
ONE TV SHOW PEOPLE MUST WATCH
I think probably my favorite show ever is Friday Night Lights, based on the football team in Texas. There's a lot of good drama and a lot of good football involved in that show.
ONE ALBUM PEOPLE MUST ADD TO THEIR COLLECTION
Any Kenny Chesney album, maybe Greatest Hits. He's kind of my go-to. I love country music.
ONE BRAND/TYPE OF CLOTHING PEOPLE MUST WEAR
Lucky Brand. They've got good jeans.
ONE LESSER-KNOWN MOVIE PEOPLE MUST WATCH
Everyone knows the movie Dumb and Dumber, but I like Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd as well. Jim Carrey wasn't in it, but that's just one that I watched a lot as a kid.
ONE ACTIVITY PEOPLE MUST TRY
Playing an instrument is something that's good. You can get kind of creative with it. I played a little bit of guitar growing up.
ONE MAGAZINE PEOPLE MUST OWN
Growing up, I'd read ESPN Magazine. I loved watching sports, so I always got into that.
ONE EXOTIC FOOD PEOPLE MUST TRY
I've had alligator before at the Minnesota State Fair, which is the second-largest fair in the United States. You can try a lot of different foods there and there are a lot of different festivals.
