In this episode of Skills and Drills with Les Canadiennes presented by Ford, Katia Clement-Heydra joins netminder Emerance Maschmeyer as she offers some pro tips on how best to direct the puck out of harm's way.

Focus on maintaining proper butterfly technique:
- Stay up in your stance and keep your balance forward;

• Ensure your butterfly isn't too wide, just in case you miss the shot with your stick and the puck hits your pads - this way, you don't kick the rebound out into the slot;

• Your glove should be up and out. Steer the puck into the corner with the angle of your stick.
