ANAHEIM - The Canadiens dropped a 4-2 decision to the Ducks to close out the team's four-game Pacific Division road trip.

A different Habs lineup hit the ice in Anaheim compared to the one in Los Angeles just 24 hours prior. Chris Wideman, Jake Evans and Adam Brooks were in for Sami Niku, Brendan Gallagher and Mathieu Perreault, respectively.
Prior to puck drop, head coach Dominique Ducharme announced that Perreault will miss two to three weeks with an eye injury.
The hosts opened the scoring early on the power play as Adam Henrique potted his fourth of the campaign at 3:39 with Brett Kulak in the box.
But the Ducks lead lasted just 33 seconds as Mike Hoffman fired a bullet past John Gibson at 4:12, likewise with the man advantage. The goal marked Hoffman's 399th career point in the NHL.
