BROSSARD – Following a successful seven-game road trip, the Canadiens were finally back at the CN Sports Complex for their first practice of the New Year at home on Tuesday.

Kaiden Guhle, who underwent surgery in November to repair a partially torn adductor muscle, skated with the group for the first time. He wore a regular practice jersey.

Prior to the main session, Patrik Laine hit the ice on his own, accompanied by director of hockey development Adam Nicholas.
