BostonBruins.com - Jay Carlo is an athlete who has been involved with Special Olympics since he was 8 years old. He started with track and field but then moved to basketball, swimming and Unified Softball. His Central Mass.-based softball team won the gold four years straight before Jay and his family moved to Gloucester. He has shifted his focus to swimming with the amazing coaches in the Cape Ann Special Olympics program.

This Fall, Jay set a goal to run 250 miles and raise $2,500 for the Special Olympics by the end of the year. With determination and support from his friends, family and community, Jay reached his goal a month and half early, reaching his goal on November 14th.
This holiday season, support the Boston Bruins Foundation and Special Olympics Massachusetts by purchasing or bidding to win a number of unique, exclusive items part of the Boston Bruins 2020 Holiday Auction, presented by TD Bank.
