BOSTON -The Boston Bruins announced today, March 15, that Boston area host/reporter Jayme Parker will serve as the public address announcer at the Boston Bruins vs. Columbus Blue Jackets game at TD Garden on Saturday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. Inspired by Hockey Is For Everyone, a joint NHL and NHLPA initiative celebrating diversity and inclusion in hockey, Parker will join Bruins in-arena host Michaela Johnson to form the first all-female public address tandem in Bruins history.

The Bristol, CT native previously served as a NESN SportsDesk anchor for 21 years. She began her career as an intern for ESPN2 in Los Angeles, CA and has worked as a freelance news writer for WBZ-TV Channel 4, WCVB-TV Channel 5, and WHDH-TV Channel 7 in Boston.
