Bruins Recall Studnicka and Lewington; Assign Steen

BOSTON -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, February 10, that the team has recalled forward Jack Studnicka and defenseman Tyler Lewington from Providence. The team has also assigned forward Oskar Steen to Providence.

Studnicka, 22, has produced six goals and 13 assists for 19 points in 27 AHL games with Providence this season. The 6-foot-2, 196-pound forward has appeared in 27 career NHL games with Boston, recording one goal and four assists for five points.
Lewington, 27, has posted one goal and three assists for four points with a plus-six rating in 26 AHL games with Providence this season. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound defenseman has appeared in 12 career NHL games with Boston, Nashville and Washington, totaling one goal and two assists for three points.
Steen, 23, has recorded two goals and four assists for six points in 19 NHL games with Boston this season. The 5-foot-9, 192-pound forward has also produced 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points in 16 AHL games with Providence this season.
