Bruins Foundation & TD Bank Team Up to Raise Funds for Essex County

BOSTON, MA -The Boston Bruins Foundation announced today, September 24, that they have teamed up with TD Bank to continue to raise funds to help those impacted by the recent gas explosions in the communities of Andover, Lawrence and North Andover.

TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, and United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley have established the Greater Lawrence Relief Fund to help individuals impacted by the recent gas explosions meet their basic needs and recover from their displacement from their homes and businesses.
The Bruins will be collecting monetary donations at the remaining home preseason games at turnstiles on Wednesday, September 26 vs. Detroit Red Wings at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, September 29 vs. Philadelphia Flyers at 5:00 p.m. Fans will also be able to donate online by visiting

. The Boston Bruins Foundation will match the amount raised at these games. One-hundred percent of the funds raised will go to the Greater Lawrence Relief Fund to assist those affected.
