BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, December 10, that the team assigned forward Oskar Steen to Providence.

Steen, 23, has produced six goals and seven assists for 13 points in 12 AHL games with Providence this season. The 5-foot-9, 192-pound forward has appeared in six career NHL games with Boston.
