If Wednesday's team practice is any indication, Blues Head Coach Craig Berube will be making some lineup tweaks for Thursday's matchup with the Detroit Red Wings (6 p.m. CT, BSMW, 101 ESPN).
Tweaks included trying Jake Neighbours on the top line with Robert Thomas and Jordan Kyrou, Jakub Vrana on the right wing with Brandon Saad and Brayden Schenn, and Sammy Blais on a line with Pavel Buchnevich and Kasperi Kapanen.

"Yeah, it's a different feel for sure," Berube said. "But again, we're looking at the future here and looking at what we've got down the road. So you gotta work with things and just see how different things work."
Torey Krug did not travel with the team due to his wife giving birth to their third child. He will not play in Detroit but will join the team in Anaheim when the road trip continues.
Joel Hofer will make his fourth consecutive start in goal. He is 2-0-1 with a 1.32 goals-against average and a .959 save-percentage since joining the Blues last week.
The coaches chose to have an optional practice on Thursday at Little Caesar's Arena in Detroit, so the projected lineup below is based on Wednesday's practice.
