WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Blues seek a third straight win on Monday night, but they will have to get it against the defending Stanley Cup Champions. The puck drops at 6 p.m. CT (FSMW, KMOX).

Jake Allen will be between the pipes on Monday after Jordan Binnington made the last two starts. Allen made 23 saves in an impressive 5-2 win against the Washington Capitals back on Jan. 3 at Enterprise Center.
"I liked the way he played against Washington at home. He won that game," Blues Head Coach Craig Berube said. "(I want to see) aggressiveness, especially early on - challenging shooters, being out, being confident in net."
Other changes for Monday's game include Jordan Kyrou taking Robby Fabbri's spot on the third line. Kyrou has played 26 games with the San Antonio Rampage and has 11 goals and 14 assists (25 points). As a rookie, he was named to the AHL All-Star team and was the AHL Rookie of the Month in December.

Nolan, Kyrou on rejoining the lineup

"He's got real good speed and skill," Berube said of Kyrou. "He's been playing really good down there, lots of points, using his speed. I'm looking forward to seeing that tonight."
Jordan Nolan will take Mackenzie MacEachern's spot on the fourth line.
"They're a big, heavy team, so our fourth line is a heavy line, too," Berube said. "We'll need them to crash and bang and get in the way of people. They're a big team and they play hard. We need some of that, too."
