Colton Parayko played his 804th game in a St. Louis Blues uniform on Thursday night vs. San Jose, taking second place in games played in franchise history and first among Blues defensemen.
Barret Jackman previously held second place with 803 games played, playing his last game with the Blues on April 11, 2015 against the Minnesota Wild. Jackman signed with the Nashville Predators as an unrestricted free agent during that offseason.
Parayko needs 124 additional games played to surpass Bernie Federko for first place overall.
This achievement is just one of three franchise milestones Parayko can reach this season. By scoring three game-winning goals, Parayko can overtake Al MacInnis for second place in game-winning goals among defenseman in franchise history. Additionally, with his fourth goal this season, he will surpass Chris Pronger for third place in goals among defensemen.
Parayko was drafted by the Blues in the third round of the 2012 NHL Draft, No. 86 overall. He made his NHL debut on Oct. 8, 2015 against the Edmonton Oilers and helped the Blues clinch their first Stanley Cup in franchise history in 2019. The 6-foot-6 defenseman also won the 2025 4-Nations Faceoff Tournament with Team Canada and represented the nation at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, winning a silver medal.
