ST. LOUIS - The NCAA announced today that St. Louis and Enterprise Center will host the 2025 Frozen Four for college hockey's National Championship.
St. Louis last hosted the Frozen Four in 2007 when the Michigan State Spartans defeated the Boston College Eagles 3-1 to claim the national title on April 7 in St. Louis.

"We are thrilled to be able to welcome back the NCAA Men's Frozen Four to Enterprise Center," said Enterprise Center and St. Louis Blues President/CEO of Business Operations Chris Zimmerman. "Our work with the city and state to invest in the reimagining of Enterprise Center is once again attracting top championship events. On a personal level, getting the chance to partner with my alma mater, the University of Vermont, to bring the Frozen Four to St Louis is exceptionally gratifying. We look forward to working with Director of Athletics Jeff Schulman and his team to host a world class championship."
"The University of Vermont is honored to be serving as the host NCAA institution for the 2025 Frozen Four in St. Louis," said Schulman. "I want to offer a special thank you to Blues President Chris Zimmerman (UVM Hockey '83) and his staff and the outstanding staff at the St. Louis Sports Commission for their commitment to college hockey and putting on what I know will be a first-class event for participants, fans and the entire college hockey community."

Enterprise Center to host 2025 Frozen Four

"We are thrilled to help bring the Men's Frozen Four back to Enterprise Center in St. Louis for the first time since 2007," said St. Louis Sports Commission Vice President Chris Roseman. "Along with our partners, the St. Louis Blues and the University of Vermont, we look forward to welcoming everyone to the Heartland of Hockey and creating an unbelievable atmosphere for the student-athletes, coaches, fans, media and officials."
The last Frozen Four in St. Louis was in 2007. Michigan State, Boston College, North Dakota and the University of Maine all won their regional brackets to advance to St. Louis and the Frozen Four. Michigan State outlasted Boston College in the Championship game 3-1 to claim the title. Justin Abdelkader, now of the Detroit Red Wings, was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. All three games at then Scottrade Center in St. Louis were sold out with a combined crowd of 57,146.
To get to St. Louis, the tournament will involve 16 teams in single-elimination play to determine the National Champion at the Division I level of the NCAA, the highest level of competition in college hockey.
In addition to the Frozon Four, Enterprise Center was also selected to host the first and second rounds of the 2026 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. Centene Community Ice Center was also awarded the 2024 Men's Hockey Regional.
