ST. LOUIS - The 2019 Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues will become the first professional sports team to come together - albeit virtually - since the sports world paused in mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Members of the current Blues roster, along with General Manager Doug Armstrong and Head Coach Craig Berube, will have a reunion via a video conference on Wednesday, April 8 - which was the first scheduled day of the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Fans can watch the video conference at stlouisblues.com and on the Blues' social channels on Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT. The event will also be available at NHL.com, the NHL's Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and on Sportsnet ONE in Canada. NBC Sports Network will air the video conference on Monday, April 13 at 5 p.m. CT.

The gathering is the highlight of a new slate of programming and original content being produced by the NHL to keep fans connected to the game while practicing social distancing.

"We are really excited about this week at the NHL. Our players have been so interested in connecting with our fans and the lineup that we've put together is quite extraordinary," said NHL Chief Content Officer Steve Mayer. "From our virtual press conferences to our Classic Games programming to the incredible reunion of the St. Louis Blues, this week will be remarkable as we keep adding new content every week."
