St. Louis Blues General Manager Alexander Steen announced today that the team has bought out the contract of forward Jonathan Drouin.
Drouin, 31, tallied three points (one goal, two assists) in nine games with the Blues and 21 points (three goals, 18 assists) in 55 games with the New York Islanders last season. Overall, the Sainte-Agathe, Quebec, native has dressed in 671 career NHL regular-season games, totaling 398 points (111 goals, 287 assists) and 238 penalty minutes.
