RELEASE: Mitchell Recalled from Rockford

The defenseman has recorded five points (2G, 3A) through three games with the IceHogs this season

The Chicago Blackhawks today announced that they have recalled defenseman Ian Mitchell from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Mitchell, 23, has played in three games with the IceHogs so far this season, registering five points (2G, 3A). He posted a four-point game (2G, 2A) in Rockford's 5-1 victory over the Grand Rapid Griffins on Wednesday.
The Blackhawks play the Boston Bruins on Saturday, Nov. 19 at TD Garden in Boston at 6:00 p.m. CT/7:00 p.m. ET. The game can be seen on NBC Sports Chicago, NHL Network and heard on WGN Radio.
