The Chicago Blackhawks and Fifth Third Bank invite fans and local community members to "Fifth Third Arena Fest," a celebration of the new partnership with the team's official practice facility and community rink. The event will be held on Monday, May 6 from 3 - 6 p.m.
As previously announced, MB Ice Arena will begin to operate as Fifth Third Arena beginning on May 6 as a result of the merger between Fifth Third Bancorp and MB Financial, Inc.

The marquee event of the day will allow fans an opportunity to skate where the Blackhawks skate, with Fifth Third Bank providing a free open skate with skate rental for all attendees. Fifth Third Arena Fest will also feature a variety of other family-friendly activities including autographs, games, photo opportunities, giveaways and more.
A signature ice sculpture will hold the most exciting prizes of the afternoon, as fans retrieve coins for their chance to win a VIP experience to paint the United Center ice before the 2019-20 Blackhawks season, tickets to a Blackhawks game, the opportunity to stand on the ice for the National Anthem, VIP seats for Blackhawks practice and more.
Additionally, local youth hockey teams and non-profit organizations can enter to win a free hour of ice time for their group at the Fifth Third Bank booth on site.
The rink is located two blocks south of the United Center at 1801 W. Jackson Blvd. in Chicago. Attending fans should enter through the main doors on the northeast corner of the building. Parking will be available on-site or in the overflow lot. For more information, please visit blackhawks.com/53arenafest.
