RELEASE: Blackhawks to Host High School Hockey State Championships

In partnership with the Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois (AHAI), the Chicago Blackhawks will host the 2023 Illinois State High School Hockey Championships, presented by BioSteel, at the United Center on Sunday, March 19.
The event will feature a full day of action starting with the Illinois Girls' Varsity State Championship: Barrington vs. Loyola (11:00 a.m.), followed by the Combined Division State Championship: Prep vs. Chicago North (1:00 p.m.) and concluding with the Red Division Varsity State Championship: New Trier Green vs. York (3:30 p.m.).

. Parking for the event is free in all official United Center parking lots.
This marks the 33rd year that AHAI will host the State Championship at the United Center/Chicago Stadium. The 2022 title was won by Stevenson High School in the Red Division, Waubonsie Warriors in the Combined Division and Chicago Romans Hockey Club in the Girls' Division.
