The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have activated forward Artem Anisimov and defenseman Gustav Forsling from injured reserve. In addition, the Blackhawks have loaned defenseman Henri Jokiharju (yoh-kee-HAHR-yoo) to the Finnish men's national junior ice hockey team for the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship. The tournament will be held in Vancouver from Dec. 26, 2018 - Jan. 5, 2019.

Anisimov has recorded 15 points (6G, 9A) in 31 games this season. In 244 career regular-season games with the Blackhawks, he has 133 points (68G, 65A). This year, Forsling has spent time with both Chicago and the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. The 22-year-old has registered one goal and four assists with the Blackhawks during the 2018-19 campaign. He also had two helpers in five games with the IceHogs.
Jokiharju, 19, has 11 assists in 32 games with Chicago during his rookie season. The Oulu, Finland, native notched four points (2G, 2A) in five games during last year's World Junior tournament. He was originally drafted by the Blackhawks in the first round (29th overall) of the 2017 National Hockey League Draft.
