The Blackhawks comeback attempt fell short on Sunday night, falling to the Jets 6-4 at the United Center. Chicago turned a three-goal hole in the third into a one-goal game late before a Blake Wheeler empty-netter sealed the deal for the visitors.
Jonathan Toews, Dylan Strome, Taylor Raddysh and Philipp Kurashev all found the net on the night in the loss. Marc-Andre Fleury made 26 stops in the defeat.
