The Canadian forward recorded his first point in the tournament with an assist to help lead the team to their first victory of the competition. He ended the night with as a plus-one, three shots on goal and averages 10 minutes of ice time.

As the one of the alternate captains, the defenseman finished the contest with a minus-two rating and averaged around 17 minutes of ice time.
D Kevin Korchinski, Canada
Korchinski ranks second among the team's defenseman in points with three assists throughout the tournament. He tallied two assists in Canada's win. He also remains plus-one and averages around 13 minutes of ice time.
In the Group A standings, Sweden (2-0-0-0) is currently tied with Czechia (2-0-0-0) as the number one teams with six points each and Canada (1-1-0-0) is right behind them with three points. Both teams will play games in their third game of the competition. Sweden will take on Czechia and Canada will go head-to-head with Austria.
