After sending the game into overtime, three of the Blackhawks defensive prospects helped Team Canada claim the gold medal after a 3-2 thriller against Team Czechia. Victor Stjernborg and Team Sweden competed for the bronze medal but failed to take back the lead after losing to Team USA.

Team Sweden fought for the bronze medal but missed their opportunity after an overtime loss to Team USA, 8-7. The Swedish captain produced two points (1G, 1A), two penalty minutes, seven shots on goal, plus-one and averaged 15 minutes of ice time through seven games.

D Nolan Allan, Canada

The 2021 NHL Draft pick finished the competition with two points (1G, 1A), four penalty minutes, plus-seven, six shots on goal and 16 minutes of playing time through seven contests.

D Ethan Del Mastro, Canada

Del Mastro earned his second gold medal with Team Canada after posting three assists, eight penalty minutes, plus-three, four shots on goal and 20 minutes of ice time through his seven appearances. He lead all Blackhawks prospects in time on ice and ranked second for Team Canada.

D Kevin Korchinski, Canada

The Canadian defenseman recorded four points (1G, 3A), plus-six, three shots on goal and 10 minutes of ice time in seven games. He lead all Blackhawks prospects with the most points.
