1st Star: C Vinnie Hinostroza, Rockford IceHogs (AHL)
The Line: 3GP, 3G, 1A
Hinostroza put together multi-point performances in two of Rockford's three outings last week. The 2012 sixth-round pick tallied a goal and an assist in the IceHogs' 5-3 loss to Iowa on Thursday, then scored twice on a team-high eight shots on goal on Saturday to help Rockford secure a 5-2 victory over Milwaukee. Hinostroza now leads the team with 15 points (7G, 8A) in 14 games.
2nd Star:D Henri Jokiharju, Portland Winterhawks (WHL)
The Line: 2GP, 1G, 4A
Jokiharju, the Blackhawks' first-round pick in 2017, collected a goal and four assists in two outings last week with Portland. The 18-year-old matched a season high with a four-point effort (1G, 3A) in Sunday's 6-1 win over Prince Albert; he shares third among WHL defensemen with 23 points (6G, 17A) in 18 games this season.
3rd Star: D Ian Mitchell, University of Denver (NCAA)
The Line: 2GP, 2A
Mitchell logged an assist in both of Denver's matches last weekend to help the Pioneers sweep a set against St. Cloud State. In doing so, the 2017 second-round pick extended his point streak to five games; he now has eight points (all assists) in 10 games with the defending NCAA champions to begin his collegiate career.
