The Blackhawks host a New York Islanders team that's won seven straight, on Tuesday at the United Center. Chicago (17-24-9) would like to build off their offensively explosive 8-5 win over the Washington Capitals on Sunday.

Alex DeBrincat has seven goals in his last seven games. He has 25 for the season, which is good for second on the team.
In net, Collin Delia has the best numbers for the Blackhawks, posting a 4-2-3 record with a 3.00 GAA and .923 save percentage. Cam Ward has a 7-8-4 record this season with a 3.99 GAA and 884 save percentage.
Chicago will be wearing their black Winter Classic jerseys.
As for the Islanders, Mathew Barzal leads the way with 44 points (13G, 31A) through 48 games. Anders Lee leads the club in goals with 18, and has a total of 37 points this year.
In net, Robin Lehner was named the NHL's First Star of the Week and has been great of late. He has a .930 save percentage in 24 starts this season.
SEASON SERIES:
This is the second and final meeting of the season between the two teams. In the first showdown back on Jan. 3, the Islanders won 3-2 in overtime. Dominik Kahun and Kane were the Blackhawks goal scorers. Devon Toews scored the winner for New York in OT.
LINEUP NOTES:
Cam Ward will get the start in net for Chicago, while Henri Jokiharju draws in on defense. Carl Dahlstrom comes out.

OPPONENT TO WATCH:
If this is cooling off for Barzal, it's still pretty good. The last time these teams met, Barzal scored two goals and was in the midst of a six-game point streak. While he hasn't been generating the same production in his last few games as he did during that streak, Barzal still has six points in his last seven games.
The 2015 first-round pick has 13 goals and 31 assists this season.
