VS. WINNIPEG

The Blackhawks and Jets meet for the second time in Winnipeg this season. Winnipeg defeated Chicago 5-1 on Nov. 5 with MacKenzie Entwistle recording the lone goal for the Blackhawks, a shorthanded tally in the third period. Seth Jones and Kirby Dach had assists on the play.
Patrick Kane has a point (2G, 6A) in four of his last five games against the Jets, including registering his 1,000th career point against the team on Jan. 19, 2020. Erik Gustafsson's 12 career points (4G, 8A) against the Jets are his most against any opponent and only one of three teams he has 10 or more points against.

STROME RUN

Dylan Strome posted a goal for the second consecutive game on Saturday night. He tallied a goal and an assist on Wednesday for his third multi-point game over his last six skates. The Mississauga, Ontario native has 14 points (6G, 8A) over his last 14 games and has 21 points (9G, 12A) in 35 games during the 2021-22 campaign, four more than last year when he skated in 40 games.
He has won 56.3% or more of his faceoffs in 12 of his last 14 games and is winning a career-high 55.6% of his draws this year, good for 18th in the league (min. 300 faceoffs). In eight of his last 12 games, Strome has won eight or more faceoffs and in five of those skates he has won 10 or more. He matched a career high with 14 faceoff wins on Jan. 22 against the Wild.

TAKING BLOCKS

Seth Jones was the first Chicago skater to pace the clubs in blocks not named Calvin de Haan in 12 games on Saturday night against the Blues. de Haan paced the Blackhawks in blocked shots for 11 straight games from Jan. 13-Feb. 9. He has blocked three or more shots in 12 consecutive contests. His 68 blocks since Jan. 1 are the most in the league, 11 more than teammate Connor Murphy who is second in that category over that span.
