PRIDE NIGHT AT THE UC

The Blackhawks host their annual Pride Night on Tuesday, bringing the entire organization together to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and stand together for inclusion.
A special pregame event in the United Center Atrium will kick off the evening, featuring special performances from the Chicago Gay Men's Chorus, a surprise appearance at the new dasherboard bar, photo opportunities and more. Fans can also sample free tacos from Taylor's Tacos, a local Support West grant recipient and 100 percent female-, black- and lesbian-owned small business. Atrium doors will open at 5 p.m. Both game intermissions will feature surprise entertainment performances inside the arena. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to learn about two more local small businesses -- Pride Candle Co. and Brassell Design Consultants -- as part of BMO's EMpower Program.
Blackhawks players will wear Pride-inspired warmup jerseys, which will be auctioned online at

through Friday, April 22 at 12 p.m. CT. Limited-edition Pride apparel will also be available in the Madhouse Team Store or at CBHShop.com.

VS. LA

The Blackhawks defeated the Kings 4-3 in a shootout on March 24. Collin Delia, a native of Rancho Cucamonga, California, stopped 43 of 46 shots in regulation and all three shootout attempts to pick up the victory. Alex DeBrincat tallied the game-deciding goal in the shootout in addition to his marker in regulation. DeBrincat also had an assist and shared the team lead with five shots on goal. Two of his last three games against LA have been multi-point efforts. Patrick Kane finished the game with a goal and an assist as well. He has a point (1G, 4A) in four straight games against the Kings.
Sam Lafferty scored in regulation in addition to Kane and DeBrincat. Seth Jones had an assist, five blocked shots and skated in a game-high 29:22 of total ice time against the Kings.
Dominik Kubalik, originally drafted by the Kings in the seventh round (191st overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft, was traded to the Blackhawks by LA for a fifth-round pick in the 2019 draft on Jan. 24, 2019.
The Blackhawks have points in six of their last seven matchups against LA.

HELPING HAND

Patrick Kane notched two helpers on Sunday night to reach the 60-assist mark for the third time in his career. He shares the fifth most 60-assist seasons by a primary winger in NHL history. He posted a career-best 66 helpers during the 2018-19 season. His 60 assists this year are sixth in the league.
Kane ended March with 26 points (5G, 21A), the most points by a Blackhawk in a single calendar month of March, besting Jeremy Roenick's 24 points in 1994. He also had the second most assists by a Chicago skater in any calendar month (Most: 23 - Denis Savard in Nov. 1987).
