The Blackhawks return home on Sunday evening to face the Winnipeg Jets for the third and final time in the rubber match of the season series. Both previous meetings took place north of the border with the teams splitting wins, Winnipeg 5-1 on Nov. 5 and Chicago 3-1 on Feb. 14.

VS. WINNIPEG

The Blackhawks defeated the Jets in the clubs' last matchup on Feb. 14 in Winnipeg. Patrick Kane (1G, 1A) and Kirby Dach (2A) notched multi-point efforts in the victory. Kane has a point (3G, 7A) in five of his last six games against the Jets, including registering his 1,000th career point against the team on Jan. 19, 2020. Dach has points (3A) in back-to-back games against Winnipeg. Erik Gustafsson's 12 career points (4G, 8A) against the Jets are his most against any opponent and only one of three teams he has 10 or more points against.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

A native of Wilmette, Alex Vlasic made his NHL debut and logged a blocked shot in 6:10 of total ice time on Saturday. Taylor Raddysh recorded a career-high five hits in 15:03 of ice time during his team debut after coming over from the Lightning on Friday. Also making his Blackhawks' debut on Saturday was Boris Katchouk, who totaled two shots on goal and two hits against the Wild.

STRONG AT THE DOT

The Blackhawks matched a season high winning 63 percent of their faceoffs on Saturday afternoon (Dec. 15 vs. WSH). Jonathan Toews led the way winning 13 draws on 21 attempts (62 percent). Toews is fifth in the league winning 58% of his faceoffs during the 2021- 22 campaign (min. 400 faceoffs). Dylan Strome went 10 of 13 (77 percent) in the circle. It was the seventh time this year he has won 70% or more of his draws in a game. He is winning a career-best 53% of his faceoffs this season. Sam Lafferty matched a season high with seven faceoff victories against the Wild.

CONSISTENT KANE

Patrick Kane had a helper on Seth Jones' marker on Saturday to reach the 50-assist plateau for the eighth time in his NHL career. He became the third player in franchise history to record eight or more 50-assist seasons with Chicago, joining Denis Savard (9x) and Stan Mikita (8x).
Kane was named the league's First Star for the week ending March 13 after he led the NHL with nine assists and 10 points in three games
