The game between the Blackhawks and the Dallas Stars scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 23 has been postponed.
On Monday evening, the NHL announced that all games, including Thursday's home contest against the Stars, have been postponed through Dec. 26 due to concern with the number of positive cases and postponed games around the league. Tuesday's home game against the Panthers
had also previously been postponed
.
The National Hockey League and National Hockey League Players' Association agreed to postpone the five games that remained scheduled on Thursday, Dec. 23, in order to begin the collectively-bargained Holiday Break effective with the conclusion of the remaining games on Tuesday, Dec. 21.
All postponed home games will be rescheduled and the Blackhawks are working with the United Center to find new dates. Any tickets held for the games Tuesday and Thursday will automatically be valid for their respective new game dates, which will be communicated as the schedule is announced.
