LAST GAME
The Blackhawks beat the Canadiens 3-1 Tuesday night at Bell Centre. Alex DeBrincat, Brandon Saad and Artem Anisimov netted a goal each. Corey Crawford made 41 saves in the victory and improved his career record against Montreal to 8-0-2.
VS. MINNESOTA WILD
Chicago holds a 27-29-1-9 mark all-time against Minnesota, including a 14-14-1- 3 record at home. The Blackhawks went 3-1 vs. the Wild last season. Jonathan Toews paced the team with eight points (4G, 4A) in four meetings against Minnesota last season, including a five-point night on Feb. 21 that tied a career best. he leads the Blackhawks with 37 career points (13G, 24A) in 36 career games against the Wild. Crawford has a 10-8-2 career mark against Minnesota.

- DeBrincat posted his first career multi-point NHL game. He became the first Blackhawks skater to record a goal before the age of 20 since Nick Leddy (19 years, 358 days) on March 13, 2011. He now has 3 points (1G, 2A) in his rookie season. - Cody Franson recorded an assist in his first appearance with Chicago. - Richard Panik posted his third helper of the season to extend his point (3G, 3A) streak to four games. - He shared the team lead in hits (3) against the Canadiens with John Hayden and Michal Kempny. - Jonathan Toews picked up an assist to extend his point streak (2G, 3A) to four games. - Brent Seabrook paced the team with four blocked shots. THREE OPPONENTS TO WATCH
C Eric Staal: The former second-overall pick enters his second season with the Wild. Staal (28G, 37A) was second in scoring for Minnesota a season ago. His 28 goals were the most he's scored since 2010-11, when he netted 33 for Carolina. Staal is coming off a multi-point performance (1G, 1A) in a loss against Carolina.
D Ryan Suter: Suter's 40 points and 26:55 of ice time per game led Wild blueliners for the fifth straight season; only Drew Doughty and Dustin Byfuglien averaged more ice time than Suter in 2016-17. His nine goals in 2016-17 were a career best and included four power-play goals.
G Devan Dubnyk: Dubnyk posted career bests in wins (40) and goals-against average (2.25) and matched a career high with five shutouts last season. The Regina, Saskatchewan, native recorded a career-long three game shutout streak from Oct. 25-29 last season.
