Game Notes: Feb. 8 vs. Dallas Stars

LAST GAME
The Flames defeated the Blackhawks 3-2 on Tuesday night at the United Center. Chicago recorded a power-play goal against Calgary for the second straight game. Alex DeBrincat and Patrick Kane recorded one goal apiece, while Jeff Glass made 20 saves in the loss.
VS. STARS
Chicago holds a 45-47-10-5 mark all-time against Dallas, including a 23-23-5-1 record at home. The Blackhawks are 0-1-2 against the Stars this season. Kane leads the team with 52 points (24G, 28A) in 43 career games against the Stars, including one goal and one assist this year. Anton Forsberg is 0-0-1 against Dallas.

DeBrincat scored his fourth power-play goal of the season in the matchup against Calgary on Tuesday night. The Farmington Hills, Mich., native is now tied for third on the team with 34 points (19G, 15A) on the season. His 19 goals share second among rookies this year. Only 19 Blackhawks rookies have reached the 40-point plateau in franchise history, and only 15 total Chicago rookies have notched 20 or more goals.
SUPER SCHMALTZ
Nick Schmaltz registered an assist on Tuesday night to extend his point streak (2G, 2A) to four games. It is the second time this season, and third time in his career, he has notched a point streak stretching four or more games. From Jan. 3-10 this season, he matched a career high with a five-game point streak (5G, 3A). In his last 15 games, the 21-year-old has tallied 15 points (8G, 7A), and his eight goals since the new year share fourth in the NHL during that span.
ONE-TIMERS
- Kane recorded a marker in the third period on Tuesday night. It was his 20th career goal against the Flames. That total is the most against any non-Central Division opponent in his career. He has three points (1G, 2A) over his last two games, and his 53 points (21G, 32A) lead the Blackhawks this year. - Jonathan Toews notched a helper against the Flames. C Tyler Seguin: The 26-year-old extended his point streak (3G, 2A) to three games with his team-leading 26th goal of the season against the Rangers on Monday night. In his last five games against the Blackhawks, Seguin has recorded five points (3G, 2A), including a two-goal performance in their most recent matchup on Dec. 21.
