The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have activated forward Artem Anisimov from injured reserve and placed forward Marian Hossa on injured reserve, retroactive to Dec. 20.
Anisimov racked up 27 points (14G, 13A) before being placed on injured reserve Dec. 22, retroactive to Dec. 18. The Yaroslavl, Russia, native leads the National Hockey League with six game-winning goals this year. Hossa shares fifth in the league with 16 goals this year.
The Blackhawks return to the ice tonight when they host the Winnipeg Jets at 7:30 p.m. at the United Center. The game can be seen on CSN, streamed live online at CSNChicago.com (CSNChicago.com/BlackhawksStream) and the NBC Sports App, and heard on WGN Radio.
