Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forwards Christoph Bertschy from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Bertschy, 22 (4/5/94), recorded a goal and assist in Iowa's 6-1 win vs. Milwaukee last night in Des Moines. The 5-foot-10, 186-pound forward has totaled four points (2-2=4) in seven games with Iowa this season, ranking T-2nd in shots (16), third in goals and T-3rd in points. The Fribourg, Switzerland, native has played three career NHL contests - all with Minnesota last season. Last season, he also totaled 35 points (11-24=35) in 72 games with the Iowa, leading the team in games played, assists and shots on goal (187), and ranking third in scoring. His shot total also ranked second amongst AHL rookies. He was selected by Minnesota in the sixth round (158th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft and wears jersey No. 47 with Minnesota.
