ST. PAUL -- Minnesota Wild General Manager Paul Fenton today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club will hold a development camp for team prospects July 10-15 at Xcel Energy Center. Minnesota Wild and Iowa Wild coaches and staff members will lead the on-ice sessions. Players will participate in daily skating, strength and conditioning sessions, as well as off-ice topics including sports psychology, social media training and nutrition education.

The Wild's 2018 Development Camp will feature two scrimmages that are free and open to the public at Xcel Energy Center. Open scrimmages will occur on Thursday, July 12 at 2:30 p.m. and on Sunday, July 15 at 5 p.m. Each scrimmage will feature two, 30-minute running time halves. Gate 1 will open to the public 30 minutes prior to the start of each scrimmage.

A total of 43 players are scheduled to attend this year's Development Camp, including 20 selected by Minnesota in the NHL Entry Draft. Players scheduled to attend include: Louie Belpedio, Kaapo Kahkonen, Brennan Menell, Dmitry Sokolov, along with all eight players selected in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft: Filip Johansson (first round), Jack McBain (third round), Alexander Khovanov (third round), Connor Dewar (third round), Simon Johansson (fifth round), Damien Giroux (fifth round), Shawn Boudrias (sixth round) and Sam Hentges (seventh round).
