With the 207th overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, the Stars selected Albert Sjoberg on Saturday from Sodertalje Jr. of the Swedish Junior League. The six-foot, 183-pound right wing recorded 13 points (10 goals, three assists) in 18 games for the junior team, and also appeared in 17 games for Sodertalje SK in the HockeyAllsvenskan league.

Internationally, the Stockholm, Sweden native won a bronze medal at the 2021 IIHF Under-18 World Championship, earning three points (two goals, one assists) in seven games.
