FRISCO, Texas --Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the team has recalled forwards Tanner Kero and Rhett Gardner from the Taxi Squad. Additionally, the team reassigned forward Jason Robertsonto the Taxi Squad.

Kero, 28, has appeared in one game with Dallas this season. He registered 33 points (8-25=33) in 49 games with the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2019-20. He shared first on Texas with 25 assists and with 12 power play assists last season. Kero also finished the campaign ranked third on the team in points (33) and eighth in goals (8).
The 6-foot, 185-pound native of Hancock, Mich. was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 1, 2019.
Gardner, 24, appeared in eight regular-season NHL games with Dallas in 2019-20, posting eight shots on goal, eight hits and an average time on ice per game of 10:08. Gardner also skated in 55 AHL games with Texas last season, registering 24 points (9-15=24). The forward shared second on Texas with three game-winning goals and finished tied for fifth on the team with 15 assists in 2019-20.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound native of Moose Jaw, Sask. was originally selected by Dallas in the fourth round (116th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft.
Robertson, 21, has appeared in two games with the Stars so far in 2020-21. The forward skated in three regular-season games with Dallas last season, logging one assist (0-1=1). He also led the Texas Stars (AHL) in 2019-20 with 47 points (25-22=47) in 60 games. Robertson finished fifth among AHL rookies and shared first on Texas with 25 goals, while he shared third among rookies and ranked second on the team with seven power play goals last season.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound native of Arcadia, Calif. was originally selected by Dallas in the second round (39th overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft.
