Stars reassign forward Tanner Kero to taxi squad

The 28-year-old has registered two assists in five games with Dallas this season

FRISCO, Texas -- Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the team has reassigned forward Tanner Kero to the Taxi Squad.

Kero, 28, has recorded two assists (0-2=2) in five games with Dallas this season. He registered 33 points (8-25=33) in 49 games with the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2019-20. He shared first on Texas with 25 assists and with 12 power play assists last season. Kero also finished the campaign ranked third on the team in points (33) and eighth in goals (8).
The 6-foot, 185-pound native of Hancock, Mich. was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 1, 2019.
