The Sharks rookies swept their Rookie Faceoff slate for the second year in a row on Saturday.

They started the weekend in Irvine, Calif. on Friday night with a 6-3 win against the Anaheim Ducks rookies before making a stellar comeback against the Los Angeles Kings rookies on Saturday afternoon, 8-5.

Cam Lund started the weekend's scoring on Friday with a goal less than a minute into the game.

After an assist on the opening goal, Quentin Musty netted one of his own.

The Sharks went on to win their first game of the weekend, 6-3 with two goals from Lund, one from Musty, Mattias Hävelid, Collin Graf, and Luca Cagnoni. Joshua Ravensbergen made 16 saves.

On Saturday, the Sharks went down, 4-0 after the first period before mounting an impressive comeback.

Kasper Halttunen, Filip Bystedt, and Sam Dickinson all scored in the second period.

Collin Graf started the third period with back-to-back goals to give the Sharks their first lead of the game.

Michael Misa added to the lead after scoring his first unofficial Sharks goal since signing his contract earlier in the week.

Mattias Hävelid netted his second of the weekend to cap off the Sharks win.

After two wins this weekend, the Sharks are 5-0 in their last two Rookie Faceoffs and the future is indeed looking pretty Teal.
