Saturday afternoons are for our young Sabres fans.
The Sabres will hold three "Sabretooth Series" games between now and the end of the season, each geared toward creating family fun with help from the NHL's best mascot. The three games - all on Saturday afternoons with 12:30 start times - are as follows:
• Saturday, February 11 vs. Flames (Sabretooth's Birthday)
• Saturday, March 4 vs. Tampa Bay (Kids Takeover)
• Saturday, April 8 vs. Carolina (Kids Appreciation)
Below is a breakdown of what to expect from each game.

Sabretooth's Birthday - Saturday, February 11 vs. Calgary

It will be a who's who of area mascots who come together to celebrate Sabretooth as he celebrates another turn around the sun - just don't ask him how old he is. Billy Buffalo, Moose, Buster Bison, Rax, Petey Griffin and Monte the Eagle will all be at KeyBank Center for the party.
The afternoon will also feature a face painter, balloon artist, fan photo opportunities, and lucky row giveaways featuring Sabretooth's favorite things. Fans are encouraged to stop by the 100-level wings (atop the escalators) before the game to create a birthday card for Tooth.

Kids Takeover - Saturday, March 4 vs. Tampa Bay

Kids Takeover returning for 2023

It's back! This day sees kids take on NHL roles such as social media editor, PA announcer, in-arena host, and junior reporter. Register your child today at Sabres.com/Takeover.
The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a Tage Thompson growth chart.

Kids Appreciation Day - Saturday, April 8 vs. Carolina

This one is to express our gratitude for the kids who cheer on our Sabres all season long. Five lucky kids who are chosen to Sabretooth's All-Star Team will be invited to the game and recognized for the good they do in the classroom or the community.
Parents, teachers, coaches, and guardians will be able to nominate a young fan for Sabretooth's All-Star Team. More details will be available soon.
Giveaway and promotions will be announced at a later date.
