CHRIS DRURY NAMED ASSISTANT GM OF TEAM USA
On Tuesday, USA Hockey tabbed Rangers President, General Manager, and Alternate Governor Chris Drury as assistant general manager of the 2022 U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team. Drury has an extensive background with USA Hockey on the international stage. He was selected as the general manager of the 2019, 2020 and 2021 (bronze) U.S. Men's National Team for the IIHF Men's World Championship and was also part of the management group for the U.S. Men's National Team in both 2016 and 2017.

On Sunday, Team Canada announced that Rangers prospects (F) Will Cuylle and (G) Dylan Garand were selected to the 2022 World Junior Championship team. Cuylle was drafted by New York in the second round (60th overall) of the 2020 NHL Draft and has spent the season with the rd Windsor Spitfires (OHL). Garand, a fourth-round selection (103rd overall) by the Blueshirts in the 2020 NHL Draft, has a 15-4-0 record, 1.85 GAA, and .932 save percentage with the Kamloops Blazers (WHL) this season.
On Tuesday, the United States finalized their roster with Rangers prospect Brett Berard making the cut. Berard, who won a gold medal with the U.S. last year, was a fifth round (134th overall) selection in the 2020 NHL Draft and is playing at Providence College currently.
