BB&T Center is ready for the annual turkey drive, the Hockey Holiday rinks are set to open and more! Sit back, relax and catch up on all the latest Panthers news!

Turkey Drive

The Florida Panthers annual Turkey Drive will be held on Monday, Nov. 19, presented by JetBlue in conjunction with local volunteer organization Harvest Drive. Fans are encouraged to donate frozen turkeys to BB&T Center anytime between 5-10 p.m.
In addition to the Turkey Drive, the Panthers will host a watch party at BB&T Center in parking lots B10 & B12 located below the JetBlue Tarmac for the Panthers vs. Ottawa Senators game beginning at 7:30 p.m. Fans are invited to donate a frozen turkey as an entry into the watch party.
The Panthers will have food trucks, interactive games, video game trucks, inflatable slap shot, corn hole, jenga along with commercial break intermission games and activities for fans to participate in throughout the night. Stanley C. Panther, Viktor E. Ratt and ROAR Corps will be in attendance as well.
Fans who donate a frozen turkey will receive two tickets to a select Panthers game while supplies last.

Hockey Holidays Ice Rinks

The Florida Panthers, the City of Fort Lauderdale and Hoffman's Chocolates in Greenacres announced today they will partner to host 'Hockey Holidays Ice Rinks,' two outdoor ice skating rinks in South Florida during the holiday season.
The Panthers and Hoffman's Chocolates in Greenacres have collaborated once again to create a 60x40 foot outdoor skating rink along side of Hoffman's Chocolates Winter Wonderland holiday display.
The Greenacres outdoor holiday rink will officially open on Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. and the hours of operation will be: Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m and Saturday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. The rink will have an early closure on Christmas Eve (6 p.m.) and will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
The Florida Panthers and the City of Fort Lauderdale have collaborated for the third year to create a 80x40 foot outdoor ice skating rink at Huizenga (Bubier Park) at the intersection of Las Olas and Andrews Ave located right near Fort Lauderdale's Riverwalk. The Bubier Park outdoor rink will open on Sunday, Nov. 25 and go until January 7, 2018. The hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. The rink will have early closure on Christmas Eve (6 p.m.) and closed on Christmas Day. On Nov. 25 only, the rink will open at 10 a.m. in conjunction with Winterfest Family Fun Day.

Pucks and Pints Beerfest

Earlier this week, the Cats announced today they will hold 'Pucks & Pints' Beerfest presented by Funky Buddha Brewery, a beer festival to benefit the Florida Panthers Foundation. The event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 8 prior to the Panthers vs. New York Rangers game at BB&T Center at 7 p.m.
Every fan in attendance will receive a 4oz Pucks & Pints exclusive sampling cup and unlimited sampling from the participating breweries including Barrel of Monks, Concrete Beach Brewery, Funky Buddha Brewery, Lagunitas and more.
The night will feature live music by Tasty Vibrations, a local South Florida Alternative band that has a unique island sound with a jammy touch that is simple yet vibrant. Customers must be 21 and older to attend the event. For all the info and to see the available ticket options, click HERE.
