A free weekend? I'm usually on a boat with Bjugy [Nick Bjugstad] or Ginner [Jamie McGinn]. We just sort of cruise around the canals and go for dinner sometimes. Being from Canada, the first time I took a boat to dinner was definitely weird. I think it was Bjugy's first time driving his boat, but we went to dinner and made him park. Watching him do it, we were all laughing and loving it. The whole boat thing is something that's definitely very different, but awesome.

I live next door to Ginner, so I see him a lot.
3. I like having him around because…
He's been awesome. We played in Buffalo before teaming up again in Florida, so he moved in right next door when he got down here. It's always fun. We hang out after games and drive to the rink together every day. He has a girlfriend and I have a wife, so we're both very punctual when it comes to being ready to leave for the rink [Laughs].
4. When it's time to grab a bite, I'll head to…
We've been going to Myapapaya in Fort Lauderdale a bit. I usually get the Bison Burger.

Caffe Europa or Louie Bossi's. I like anywhere that has pizza. I'm a big pizza guy.

Sunscreen. If I look out the window, I get sunburn. I've got to stay out of the sun. I do my best. If I'm in the sun for five minutes, I'll definitely be red the next day. You never want to come to the rink with a sunburn.
7. My favorite thing about playing hockey in South Florida is…
It's the team. We can have fun anywhere. It's all about that brotherhood.
