SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers President & CEO Matthew Caldwell announced today the Florida Panthers communications staff for the 2019-20 season.

Director of Communications & Digital Media Adelyn Biedenbach has been promoted to Senior Director of Communications. Chrissy Parente will serve as Manager of Communications. Media Relations Coordinator Mike Lewis has been promoted to Hockey Communications Specialist and the club has hired Thomas Harding as Communications Coordinator.
"We are thrilled to announce these promotions and structure of our communications team", said Panthers Senior Vice President Shawn Thornton. "In my time working with Adelyn as both a player and an executive, she has proven herself to be a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about the success and impact of our organization. Adelyn, Chrissy, Mike and Thomas are a hard-working group of people who have consistently proven themselves and I am excited about what we are going to accomplish together."

Biedenbach, 28, enters her seventh season with the Panthers. The Pittsburgh, Pa., native joined the Panthers organization in 2013-14 as Coordinator of Digital Media & Communications. She has served as Director of Communications & Digital Media since 2015. Biedenbach earned a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from Point Park University in 2012 and earned an M.S. in New Media Management from Syracuse University in 2013. Prior to her career with the Panthers, Biedenbach served as a New Media Intern with the Pittsburgh Penguins and served as a Marketing, Communications and Graphic Design Intern for the University of Pittsburgh.
As Senior Director of Communications, Biedenbach will serve as the primary public relations contact for the Panthers and oversee the Panthers communications and digital media operations and staff.
Parente, 26, enters her eighth season with the Panthers. The Boca Raton, Fla., native was promoted to Communications Manager in 2018. Parente served as a Communications Intern with the Panthers for three seasons before being promoted to Public Relations Coordinator for the 2015-16 season.
Over the last seven seasons, Parente has fostered relationships with the local media and led press box operations for BB&T Center.
A graduate of Florida Atlantic University, Parente earned a B.A. in Multimedia Journalism in 2015.
Lewis, 28, enters his seventh season with the Panthers. The Coral Springs, Fla., native served as the Panthers Media Relations Coordinator for each of the last four seasons. Lewis began his career with the Panthers as a Communications Intern with the club for the 2012-13 season before being promoted to Media Relations Assistant and returned to the Panthers full-time as Communications Associate for the 2014-15 season.
As Hockey Communications Specialist, Lewis will continue to oversee hockey research and information as well as manage media requests and locker room operations for the club.
A graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University, Lewis earned a B.A. in Communication Studies in 2012.
Biedenbach, Parente and Lewis were part of a PR team that received the Professional Hockey Writers Association's 2015-16 Dick Dillman Award as the top public relations department for the Eastern Conference. The award marked the first time the Panthers had received the honor.
Harding, 22, enters his first season with the Panthers after serving as a Communications Intern for the summers of 2017 and 2018. The native of Wellesley, Mass., served as Student Manager/Video Coordinator for the Union College men's ice hockey team for the last three seasons and served as Social Media Manager for the Shawn Thornton Foundation.
A graduate of Union College, Harding earned his B.A. in Economics in 2019.
The Panthers communications and PR Department also includes the digital content arm for the organization: Digital Media Coordinator Peter Rossi, Content Activation Assistant Veronica Behonick, Videography Specialist Dave Courtney and Photography Specialist Eliot Schechter.
