The Pittsburgh Penguins will win the Stanley Cup for the third consecutive season because they have everything.

They will do the same this season, becoming the first team to win three Stanley Cup titles in a row since the New York Islanders won four in a row from 1980-83. This time Pittsburgh will ride goalie Matt Murray to the end because former goalie Marc-Andre Fleury is playing for the Vegas Golden Knights.
Speed kills in the NHL. The Penguins have plenty of it.

Elite players who rise above the pressure when the game is on the line separates the best from the rest in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Penguins have those players in Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Phil Kessel and Kris Letang.
The Penguins also have four-line forward depth, especially in the middle, with centers Crosby, Malkin, Derick Brassard and Riley Sheahan.
Murray has won the Cup twice, and he's healthy and ready for the playoffs. Backup Casey DeSmith has proven capable as a backup and would be solid in a pinch if necessary.
Add in quality coaching, leadership and experience and it's clear the Penguins will complete the three-peat.
