Lars Eller had two goals and an assist, and Pheonix Copley and Braden Holtby combined for a shutout in the Washington Capitals' 6-0 preseason win against the Chicago Blackhawks at United Center on Wednesday.

Copley started and made 17 saves in 30:12. Holtby made five saves over 29:47.
Jakub Vrana had a goal and two assists, and Tom Wilson (shorthanded) and John Carlson each had a goal and an assist. Liam O'Brien also scored, and Colby Williams had two assists.
Corey Crawford allowed six goals on 26 shots for Chicago.
Eller's first goal made it 4-0 at 11:33 of the second period. He scored again at 14:58 of the third for the 6-0 final.
