SAINT PAUL -- TRIA Orthopaedic Center will be a cornerstone tenant and sponsor of the new ice rink at Wabasha Center, the redevelopment in downtown St. Paul by Hempel Companies and the Saint Paul Port Authority.

In addition to being the title sponsor of the ice rink, TRIA will lease 6,000 square feet for a state-of-the-art orthopedic clinic offering acute care, sports medicine, sports surgery, rehabilitation services and physical therapy.
"We're excited to deepen our long-standing partnership with the Minnesota Wild and the commitment to our community by sponsoring the TRIA Rink," Edward V. Craig, MD, MPH, chief executive officer of TRIA Orthopaedic Center, said. "We have been proud partners with the Wild since the team's inception in 2000, serving as the official medical provider for fans and players alike."
Wabasha Center will be home to the Minnesota Wild's new practice facility and will include a rooftop ice rink and practice facility that will be available to the public and area youth teams as well. The facility is expected to open later this year.
"TRIA has been an outstanding partner of the Minnesota Wild from the beginning and we are very excited that they will also have a great presence at Wabasha Center," said Minnesota Wild vice president of new business development and assistant to the chairman Jamie Spencer. "They've shown tremendous commitment to our community and will be a great resource for the Wild and all of downtown Saint Paul. We look forward to implementing our partnership in new ways as a result."
