Maple Leafs wear remixed legends on colorful custom hoodies

You can never go wrong with the classics.

A few lucky members of the Toronto Maple Leafs received hoodies with remixed portraits of team legends that they modeled on social media Friday.
Auston Matthews got Darryl Sittler, Mitchell Marner wore Doug Gilmour, John Tavares had Wendel Clark, and Morgan Rielly sported Borje Salming. Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas got in on the fun with a Cliff Fletcher hoodie.

The idea for the hoodies came from the Maple Leafs marketing staff, which was inspired by the Adidas Reverse Retro jerseys. They gave the portraits an almost Andy Warhol-like spin and got them printed for the players and Dubas.
At least one of the legends approved of the fashion statement. Gilmour tweeted that he would make Marner wearing his likeness his new Twitter profile photo and he followed up on that promise.

And don't be surprised if these hoodies make more appearances. They're too good to only wear once.
